When should I wear the WS6 Compression Wrist Sleeve?
The WS6 Compression Sleeve can be worn day or night. During the day, the gentle compression helps prevent the swelling that can cause aching hands and symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome. Nighttime wear is recommended to lessen morning stiffness and swelling if you have arthritis or other inflammatory conditions. Please monitor the color and circulation in your hand and remove the sleeve if you experience any discoloration or coldness.
Can I wear sleeves on both hands?
If you have symptoms in both hands, you should consider buying two sleeves. They come packaged one per box.
Will this help if I have lymphedema?
The WS6 compression sleeve was not designed for those with lymphedema. The WS6 provides gentle compression around the base of your thumb and around the wrist, with lower compression in the forearm. If you have mild edema only in your hand or around your thumb, the WS6 may be helpful in place of a lymphedema glove or when worn with a lymphedema arm sleeve. Please consult with your health care provider.
Will this help if I have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome?
The WS6 sleeve offers compression that can help control the swelling that can bring on the tingling and numbness typical with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Though the sleeve does not prevent you from moving your wrist, it does support your wrist so you are less likely to hold it in positions that can increase pressure on the carpal tunnel.
My hand and wrist get achy during the day. Will the Wrist Sleeve help?
The most frequent comment we hear about the WS6 Wrist Sleeve is that it feels like "support hose for my hand". Since compression helps circulation and has been shown to lessen muscle fatigue and swelling, that seems to make sense. We ship to all 50 states, as well as US territories. (Currently we are unable to ship internationally). Most orders leave our warehouse within 24 to 48 hours.
Shipments are processed Monday through Friday. Weekend and holiday orders and orders placed after 2:00 pm EST will ship the next business day. Overnight orders received after 2:00 pm EST will ship the following business day (Saturday delivery for residential addresses not available).
In order to provide the best possible service, we ship via USPS, Priority Mail and Fed Ex. USPS options usually deliver your package within 3-7 days depending on location. 2-day and overnight delivery are available through Fed Ex.
